a: Yes, the HATC is open for recreational runners up to Olympic Champions

q: How can I get answer on some specific questions ?

q: How do I book ?
a: Fill in the bookings form and mail it

q: How do I get to Iten ?
a: There are daily flights from Amsterdam, London, Brussels and Zurich. Also from many African cities, Istanbul, Dubai and Bangkok

q: Can I get vegetarian food in the HATC ?
a: Yes, please contact us for any special wishes

q: Can I really train with Kenyan athletes ?
a: Yes, there are hundreds of Kenyan athletes in Iten and they love to train together

q: What is the climate in Iten ?
a: Most of the time it is very nice weather, not too hot and not humid. In July it is rainy season but you can still train well.

q: Is malaria a problem in Iten ?
a: No, Iten is at 2400 m/ 8000 ft and normally there is no malaria at this altitude. However, when you travel or go on safari you might take Malerone or an alternative

q: Are there doctors and a hospital in Iten ?
a: Yes, there is a small hospital but we work together with a private clinic in Eldoret, 30 min. drive, from two European doctors.

q: What are the costs to stay at the HATC ?
a: Please contact us, it depends on the length of your stay and your wishes.

q: Is Iten safe for foreigners ?
a: Iten is a small village and very safe, you can walk everywhere, day and night. The HATC is based next to the district Police Headquarters.
