Hilda, Lornah and Doris

Team HATC is a small group of elite athletes who train with Lornah Kiplagat. Two of the girls have already accomplished international recognition.

Hilda Kibet
Aged 24. Born in Kenya and a cousin to Lornah Kiplagat.At present Kibet is a full time resident of the Netherlands where she studied, and now is qualified, in Physiotherapy. In 2005 running as a professional athlete she won the Egmond Half Marathon in Holland, placed 2nd in the Women's 10 km and, third in the Great Manchester 10 km in Britain. Hilda's personal record for 10 km is 31:46 was set in Manchester.

Doris Changeiywo
At just 21- years of age Changeiywo, from Mt. Elgon Kenya, has shown extraordinary talent for athletics. Doris came to the camp directly after her High school studies and has proven a top level athlete over cross-country, road and track competitions. In 2005 she has already won the East African XC Championships, the Marikenloop 5 km, and the Groesbeek 10km ( both held in the Netherlands ). Her personal record of 31:52 was set in 2005.
