Lornah's vision was to provide young women the opportunity to train and live under the most ideal circumstances so that they could build up a career in athletics and work on their academic skills. Currenlty, the vision has changed because Lornah is setting up a boarding school for girls, the Lornah Kiplagat Sports Academy. The HATC is now open to athletes and tourists from all over the World. The HATC welcomes runners, triathletes, mountain bikers and people who just look for a nice and quite place where they can relax and train.

HATC is a Multisports Training centre at an altitude of 2400 metre above sealevel in Iten, about 25 minutes from Eldoret. Iten is the capital of the World for athletics, there are over 400 athletes training in Iten and among them World Champions, Olympic Champions and World record holders.

The HATC is surrounded by hundreds of miles with dirt roads, perfect for running and mountain biking, there is a 400 metre dirt track and there are hills for hill training. The HATC has excellent facilities like a state of the art Gym . Fitness centre, sauna's, a 25 metre solar heated swimming pool and a pool restaurant.
